Welcome to the Alameda High School-Based Health Center's School Loop homepage! Check out our links to important paperwork and resources.

The School-Based Health Center is open from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. Our medical clinic is on Mondays from 9am to 3pm and Wednesdays from 1pm to 3pm.

General Information

What is the School-Based Health Center?

The School-Based Health Centers (formerly Tri-High) utilize a multidisciplinary approach in order to promote the health and well being of youth. By offering FREE medical, mental health, health education, and youth development services on school grounds, the Health Centers' break down barriers that can prevent youth from accessing care. The Health Centers' focus on early identification and prevention of risk factors aims to reduce barriers to learning and to support our families and our community.  

Where is the School-Based Health Center located?

The School-Based Health Center at Alameda High School is located in the main building around the corner from the attendance office.  We have a School-Based Health Center located at Encinal High School as well, but we encourage Alameda High School students to access the Health Center located on campus.  Please see map below:

When can you visit the School-Based Health Center or make an appointment?

The School-Based Health Center is open Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. We offer our FREE medical clinic for students on Mondays from 9am-3pm and Wednesdays 1pm-3pm.

Who can access services at the School-Based Health Center?

High School students in the City of Alameda who attend Encinal High School, Alameda High School, ASTI, BASE, ACLC can access all of our services for FREE.
