Drama teacher and director Fred Chacon's swan song at AHS will run May 30-June 1(Poster designed by student Emerald Chan.)

AHS Musical Nominated for Prestigious Awards!

The AHS spring musical All Shook Up was nominated for a whopping 9 awards by the Bay Area High School Musical Theater group, San Jose's The Stage.  Nominees include:

Scenic Design and Direction (Fred Chacon), Choreography (Christina Lazo), Orchestra (AHS Orchestra), Best Featured Actress (Rachel Menendez), Best Supporting Actress (Macey Mae Hosick), Best Supporting Actor (Joe Ruck), Best Lead Actress (Mackenzie Cala) and Best Overall Production.

Winners will be announced June 3. The complete press release about the event is here. Congratulations to Mr. Chacon and the cast and crew of All Shook Up!

Members of the AHS Symphonic Band participated in the Festival of Gold in San Francisco last weekend, performing at Davies Symphony Hall.
