During the month of October, the leadership class sold t-shirts to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All of the profits went to Carol Ann Read Breast Health Center at Summit Hospital in Oakland. Everyone who bought the t-shirts helped to donate $700 to those with breast cancer. Carol Ann Read Health Center will use this money to help survivors or people diagnosed with breast cancer by helping patients with transportation to the health center, help pay for groceries if needed, and more.
